About Work
My work involves the expression of the inner psychology; a self reflection mirrored through art.
In order to express the vision and subject matter of my work, I find that it is important to extract
ideas from within my own perspective and senses.

My mother who was a painter, influenced me greatly during my childhood.
I then immersed myself drawing illustrations independently while attending a fashion college.
After graduating, I spent seven years in exploring pure art; a period of my life that had made
a tremendous influence on the way I illustrate fashion today.

In order to relate with the dynamics and changes of our society today,
I try to evolve my work through different elements and ideas; conveying a more border-less ap-
proach in my work.My interest lays upon using traditional art techniques; translating a vague,
abstract idea into something concrete and real. I see my work as a way of discovering the
quintessence of concept.

Techniques
All my work is analogue,
hand painted with acrylic, air-brush, and rollers. It is true that using digital would be a logical
way to illustrate the new textiles and materials that are created every year;
however I think that there is a genuine charm about analogue art that can never be replaced
by digital technology.

Favorite artists:
i admire the work of Egon Schiele,
Antonio Lopez, Isao Yajima, Rei Kawakubo, and other artists that were intellectually beyond
their time.People that surpassed the norm of society. Thinkers who provoke, question, and
disturb the social belief system.

●作品制作意図
私のさまざまな作品に共通して言える事は自画像を描くように、その内面を描いている。
クライアントの要望や対象物が存在しているからこそ、そこに自分を考え意識する事が
出来るからです。幼少期から母親の影響で絵を描き始め、ファッションの学校では
独学でファッションイラストレーションを学びました。その後にデッサン、 純粋美術
など７年間絵画活動を行い、そこで経験した技術をファッションイラストレーションに
用いています。架空のイメージやキャラクターを描く事を多く求められる仕事ですから
クライアントからの抽象的なイメージに具体的な輪郭線を与えるように考えています。
ここで表現した輪郭線はクライアントからのイメージが持っている本質を引き出すため
の意味です。”その本質は何か”を描く事が私のイラストレーションだと思います。

これまでに影響を受けたアーティストはEgon schiele. Antonio lopez. Isao yajima.

彼らの作品からは常に常識を超えた時代への挑発、自分自身の挑戦を感じる。
